Techni-Logique, new promotor of the Prix Galien Canada
Techni-Logique is proud to announce that it has acquired the operating license for the Prix Galien in Canada.
The Prix Galien is the highest distinction worldwide in biopharmaceutical research. Referred to as the Nobel Prize of pharmaceutical research, the Prix Galien is given annually to an individual or a team having brought a significant contribution to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of illnesses.
Created in France 40 years ago, the Prix Galien has hit the shores of Canada in 1994, making it the first North American country to recognize the efforts and achievements of pharmaceutical research and development. The USA followed in the footsteps of Canada in 2007.
The members of the independent Jury of the Prix Galien Canada are amongst the most eminent Canadian experts in pharmacy, pharmacology and medicine. Dr Jacques Gagné is President of the Prix Galien Jury. He is also the President of the Québec Biotechnology Innovation Centre.
